A Question

I know I said I was moving over to blogger, and, indeed, I have been spending most of my blog time on a blogger site, but I just have to ask, Why is it when people fall to their deaths in movies they never land on the ground? They alway land on cars or smashable building or dumpsters or anything that will collapse.
